FROM M6, JUNCTION 27

Come off the roundabout onto the A5209 towards Parbold. Turn right immediately onto the B5250, Mossy Lea Road, before the BP garage.  Carry on for 2 miles (be careful of speed cameras!) to the Mulberry Tree pub junction and turn left into Church Lane.  St James’ is ½ mile down the road.  There is a car park on the left opposite the church.

 

FROM M62/M61, JUNCTION 6

Come off the M61 at junction 6 and filter left.  At the next roundabout turn left onto the A6, Chorley Road, towards Westhoughton for 1/3 mile.  First right onto the B5239, Dicconson Lane, for about 5 miles, going through Aspull, Haigh and Red Rock.  At the mini roundabout turn right onto the A5106, Chorley Road, for ¼ mile.  Turn left onto the B5239, Rectory Lane, towards Standish and the M6.  Go straight through Standish to junction 27 of the M6 and then follow the directions above.
